Our Leadership

Image of Eliot

Lead Pastor

Eliot DeLorme

Eliot grew up in New England and moved to Minnesota for college where he spent a decade that changed the direction of his life. While there, Eliot committed his life to following Jesus, met his dear wife, Olivia, started a family (they now have 4 children), and was called to gospel ministry back in New England. The DeLormes moved to Henniker in 2020 and it feels like home to them.

Eliot graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Bethlehem Seminary in 2020. His pastoral ministry is primarily focused on soul care, preaching Jesus from all of scripture, and helping people take the next step with Jesus. He enjoys stories about Christian saints from the past, books by Paul Miller and Eugene Peterson, the sermons of Charles Spurgeon, and the imaginative writings of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.

Eliot enjoys Celtics basketball, Christmastime, running, rap, reading, and learning new hobbies from Olivia and the kids (currently bass fishing & baseball). Olivia and Eliot really enjoy hosting and feasting with friends, old or new!

Pastor

Andrew Sheard

Andrew has been married to his best friend, Lida, since 2015. They love living in Weare, New Hampshire with their three kids and are excited to meet their fourth child in June.

Andrew holds a Master of Divinity degree from Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minnesota, as well as a degree in Environmental Science from Taylor University in Indiana. He makes good on all that tuition money by teaching high school science on weekdays and pastoring on weekends. In his pastoral ministry, Andrew loves remembering and reminding others about the hope of God's surprising love to sinners and the light that it brings to all of life. His faith journey is one long story of other people helping him learn and live the Christian life, and some of his influences include Leslie Newbigin, Tim Keller, C.S. Lewis, and Wendell Berry.

In the wild, he can be spotted attempting to grow his own food, reading real and make-believe stories about true things (preferably with other people), going on outdoor adventures with his family, watching Sunday afternoon football, and playing guitar.
